Faith and Knowing God

Faith without intimate knowing of God is worthless. If we act as if something is true without knowing Him, we will end in disaster. “Have we not…in thy name done many wonderful works?…I never knew you.” Their faith was not faith in Him and therefore was not faith at all. Similarly, the foolish man apparently built his house on sand in faith – but he never knew God – therefore his faith was not faith. Had he been abiding, his faith would have been effective. God would have changed his sand to the Rock. The same things goes for evolutionists – they have tremendous faith in their “science,” but because they do not know Him, their “faith” has no power. It is more like “belief” – false belief at that.
